Focus on what you WANT, not what you DON’T want.

Focus on what you WANT, not what you DON’T want.

Jules Hare, Experienced Body-Mind Travel Guide and Translator

No problem can be solved until we focus on what we want.

Sounds obvious, but I still catch myself doing this all the time. Most often for me it comes when I see a behaviour or reaction that I’m opposed to.

The other day it was someone in the office at my daughter’s school. Their patience muscle was obviously dangerously close to a state of rupture, ‘having words’ with a guilty looking student.

It’s so easy to judge this situation that I have no context to. It’s so much harder to stop and take the steps necessary to follow the opposite end of the compass. To focus on how I want to be treated, heard, understood, and respected (referring to both the teacher and the student).

That’s the best part though, when you bring your awareness to what you don’t like and then let it help you to bring your powerful attention to what you DO want? Magic happens.

Your attention animated! It brings  things to life!

Do you want to bring to life what you don’t want? I’m guessing you’ll answer the same way to that as I so often do 😉✨

Are you ready to make this shift but need help? We all work better when we’re supported, it’s in our human nature! So just do it, reach out to someone you can trust who has the skills to hold space for you, it’s a decision you’ll never regret.
