There’s nothing more magical than interacting with a child
Jo Ann Gramlich, MS, CCC-SLP
There’s nothing more magical than interacting with a child, especially when you know you’re encouraging them to say their first true words. Starting as early as birth, you can begin to talk, play, and read with your child and become actively involved in the initial stages of communication.

Hi!! My name is Jo Ann Gramlich and I’ve been a children’s speech-language pathologist for almost 30 years!! I am the author of Talk, Play, And Read with Me Mommy and Talk, Play, And Read With Me Daddy Interactive Activity books. My books will not only guide you but provide you with many stimulating activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and designed to help enhance your child’s language skills. You will learn how to facilitate language development during one-on-one interactions with your child. In other words, you will learn what to say and how to play while experiencing special bonding moments together!!
If you take the time to adjust your day to day interactions and your everyday routines that you are already engaging in, you can increase opportunities for speech and language development in your child. The greatest factor is that it’s not going to be a lot of extra work on your part. Good luck to you and your child as you interact together and remember to keep on talking!
