Traditional Hatha Yoga

Traditional Hatha Yoga is so much more than stretching our physical body, this practice allows us to connect with all the layers of our being, physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. This practice is an inward journey.

Hatha yoga invites us to build our relationship with our chakra system, which is 7 main energy centres that run vertically from the base of the spine to the crown of the head in our energy field.

Svadhisthana Chakra also known as The Sacral Chakra is the second energy centre from the base, this centre invites us to explore certain aspects of our being and consciousness such as creativity, imagination, fun, romance and our sexual energies, when this chakra is out of balance we can notice it’s characteristics such as fear, jealousy, insecurity, anxiety and depression.

In this practice we work with the spiritual philosophies and energy flow, we tune into specific energy frequencies by placing our bodies in specific postures that relate to each chakra and with mindfulness, activate the flow of energy to release energy blockages and invite in new energy to create balance and harmony.
